Chaparro confident in his team.
Despite only picking up two points from the opening five games Real Betis manager Paco Chaparro has said he is confident in his side and thinks they are starting to play well.
Real Betis might have been one of the most active sides in the summer transfer market but so far this season they have done little to show what all the money spent actually bought.
The Andalucian side have picked up just two points from goalless draws and currently sit in 18th place in the table after five rounds of matches. However, despite losing their last two games against Real Madrid and Barcelona they have improved and manager Paco Chaparro today laid out his plans for their match against Villarreal at the weekend.
"What we intend to do is to give Villarreal the greatest problems possible," he explained, "We want to make them play in a different way, they have very good players and a good team with a manager that carries three years of working with them."
"We will go with the intention to win, we always play with the desire to win, sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn't," he said.
Whilst they may play with desire to win though they have not produced a victory yet but Chaparro seemed less than concerned as he spoke about his team today.
"We get confidence and security knowing that the people see us a team," he started, "In three weeks we have played Sevilla, Barcelona and Real Madrid and not one of them has been all over us."
"Everyone agrees with what we are preparing and presenting together and we all think we are doing our best," he concluded.
