May 17, 1997 at Villamarín Betis 3 Sevilla 3; matchday 38 of the First Division League Championship.

In the image under Ríos, Vidakovic, Alexis, Jarni, Pier, Finidi and Prats; below Josete, Merino, Alfonso and Nadj.

A strange encounter that Betis with 3 minutes to go won 3-1 with goals from Jarni (2) and Cañas and Prosinecki for Sevilla, and that they tied with goals from Salva and Galván in the discount. And in this discount a phantom goal from Jarni's auction that was repeatedly demanded by the Betic players, but that the referee Carmona Méndez did not concede.

Lorenzo Serra coached Betis and Julián Rubio coached Sevilla.

Antolín Ortega García, born in Madrid on November 5, 1951.

                        Midfield player.

He started in the Madrid quarry, and then he was loaned to Osasuna for a year. On his return home, he played for the Madrid team, Castilla, being again loaned to Castellón. Given his lack of opportunities to access the first white team, he embarked on a new path in Cádiz where he spent 3 seasons.

In the summer of 1978, Betis took over his services alongside Villalba, the Cadiz winger of the yellow team. On July 29, 1978 in La Rinconada he made his debut with Betis in a friendly match. On September 3, 1978, he officially debuted with the verdiblanca shirt, in the first league match at Villamarín against Baracaldo.

During the 9 seasons in which Antolín played for Betis, he became an example of a footballer with claw and honor. His fight on the axis of the Betic field was a benchmark of absolute dedication in defense of the green and white colors.

To end his football career, Ortega played a season at Recreativo de Huelva.

In his 9 seasons at Betis Ortega he played 251 league matches, scoring 5 goals, 46 in the Cup, scoring 3 goals, 18 in the League Cup, 4 in European competitions and 102 friendlies, in which he scored 4 goals.

Adolfo was undoubtedly part of the best Betis in history, the one who was proclaimed League champion in 1935, and his performance throughout the period was very outstanding, consolidating himself as one of the great Verdiblancos scorers of the 1930s.

He scored 53 goals during his Betic period, obtaining 29 goals in the League (14 in the First Division and 15 in the Second Division), 9 in the Cup, 10 in the Joint Championship and 5 in the Andalusian Championship. He was the author of the first Betic goal in the First Division, achieved in San Mamés on November 27, 1932.

He scored 35 goals for the Board, 17 on rival grounds and 1 on neutral ground, in Chamartín against Arenas de Getxo, in the 1931 Cup semi-final tiebreaker that helped Betis to play the grand final.

He scored 1 penalty goal, 1 shot from outside the area, 7 header and 44 shots with his foot inside the area. As he participated in 147 official matches, he has an average of 0.36 goals per game.

His 53 goals were distributed among 29 different rivals, being Arenas, Castellón and Sevilla those who scored the most, 4 to each of them.

His first goal in verdiblanco was made on October 12, 1930 in the Board of Trustees against Malagueño, in the Andalusian Championship match, and the last also in the Board of Trustees on May 17, 1936 against Girona in a Cup match.
