Real Betis had the sixth-highest attendance in Spain back in 2014/15 - when they were in the Segunda. I refuse to accept any excuses from Barcelona fans regarding the attendance we’re seeing at Camp Nou right now. Reflects poorly on the club.

In 2015 : Average attendances in Spain this season. Betis 6th (above Sevilla) despite being in Segunda! 3rd tier Oviedo 22nd!

The Real Betis boat for the race against Sevilla has been named after the legendary Luis del Sol!

Betis won the 55th edition of the Sevilla-Betis Regatta. The verdiblancos overcame in an exciting and highly disputed regatta a boat from Nervioenense that stood up at all times with a sensational start and endurance until almost halfway through the test, which changed the script just at the height of Torre del Oro.

The tension was palpable from the start, with silence and total concentration in both boats waiting for David Galisteo to start. On the shore of Seville was the Nervión team and Betis in Triana and from the start there was a lot of rhythm and a lot of technical quality (clean stroke) in the rowers of the two teams.

It was from very early on Sevilla the one that took a slight advantage over Betis, with a half boat advantage at the height of the Puente de la Barqueta, which continued to pass through the Puente del Cachorro with the Chapina curve. The Verdiblancos were trying to hold the sevillista pull, which when passing through Triana, with the bridge full of fans, had about five or six meters of advantage over Betis.

However, in San Telmo, with the Torre del Oro as a witness, everything changed. Change of rhythm of the boat led by helmsman Tomás Jurado. Last 1,300 spectacular meters in the verdiblanca reaction to sign at the Muelle de las Delicias a time of 18 minutes and 13 seconds. A couple of boats away that did not reflect the final difference either against a Sevilla that also signed a regatón.

With this victory, the record is 30-25 for Sevilla in a regatta in which the Betic Marcelino García became the rower with the most victories in a test that began in 1960 and which has experienced a great morning on the banks of the Guadalquivir.
