Real Betis Balompié has received a communication from UEFA in which it proposes a sanction due to the breach of "not having overdue debts". The debt to which the European body refers is a payment deferral agreed with Rayo Vallecano in the Álex Moreno purchase operation. There has been an agreement with the Vallecano club for a long time to pay the amount in the coming weeks, long before the end of the period set by UEFA, which is January 31, 2022. Real Betis wants to influence that this sanction is actionable and it will do so in the coming days.

In no case would there be a scenario that could imply the exclusion of future European competitions of the Club, so the entity wants to send a message of tranquility to all Betis.

Christmas is here and Real Betis recovers the tradition of showering stuffed animals at halftime in the last game that is played at home before the holidays. The objective of this initiative is that no child is left without toys this Christmas. In the two previous campaigns 2018 and 2019, 16,000 and 17,500 plush toys were collected.

The race for La Liga’s top scorer award looked as though it would be run by one horse after Benzema took a big lead early on.

But suddenly, we have a real competition on our hands, thanks to an unexpected contender.

Real Betis star Juanmi has now scored seven goals in his last seven games across all competitions, and he is now on 11 goals for the season.

That puts him just two goals behind Benzema, who has 13 so far this term.

Juanmi had only scored 13 across his last three seasons across all competitions, but he has now managed 11 in la Liga alone this term, netting 13 across all competitions.

Beyond Juanmi, Vinicius Junior has 10 goals so far this term, while Iago Aspas is also closing the gap, now on eight goals for the season.
