Jose Maria Nogues To Step Down As Real Betis Coach Tomorrow - Reports

After being relegated at the weekend, Betis could be set to lose their coach...

Jose Maria Nogues has called a press conference tomorrow where he could step down from his position as Real Betis coach following relegation to La Segunda.

The Catalan took over as coach in April from Paco Chaparro but was not able to turn the fortunes of the club around and they finished 17th in the league after drawing with Valladolid on Sunday.

Now, with the Segunda looming, AS reports that Nogues will announce his decision to leave the club at a press conference tomorrow.

The coach met with the players today for what could be the final time as he gave them plans for holidays, from which they will return on July 13.

By then, they could be working under a new boss and they are unlikely to be a shortage of names willing to apply for the position at Betis.

Whilst the Seville club have been reluctant to make any statements today, they did confirm that there is a press conference tomorrow, but did not release any further details.

As well as losing Nogues, Betis could lose plenty of players this summer and have already missed out on signing Bruno and Iriney Santos from Almeria.
Can't really blame him for the situation. Good to him with whatever the future holds.
